Solo Driver

Yes, in fact the first solo drive is everything that it is cracked up to be. Having passed my test, I took the plunge as soon as I could and drove to Halfords. there is something strangely compelling about the way you can make a mistake and no-one will jump down your throat. Then, the parking, locking and leaving of the car has a great feeling of maturity about. I am now offically a 'young driver'. Scourge of the safety-concious. Menace of the motorist. I am , as of 3:00 yesterday, as Mohammad would say, a 'professional driver'.

the roads are no longer safe!

and so...

Dr who was good again. I mean very good. Daleks come next week. I shall look forward to that.

I was playing swingball again with Stephen, and it broke. The ball came clean off and flew halfway up the garden, which is impressie, because we have a fairly big garden. Worst thing was though, it was twelve all, and he was winning. That means that it's now 13-12. He's in the lead and we have no swingball set to continue on.

AARGH!!

A-level German exams are hard. That's all I have to say on the subject.

Bed time

It's late, I have to get up early tomorow and I'm sitting here listening to the radio.

I just got back from cell group. It was good, but there was only 4 of us there. We prayed a bit for varoius things, I did a short bible study thing about Esther and the end of it which really bugs me, and Joe did a longer one based around Timothy and mentoring. That and a lot of talking led us to 9:00. After that we went to a sort of computer/piano room and sat and chatted and played music.

On another note...

I completed my coursework!! All of it! I never hae to do coursework ever again! (of course it would inole turning down uni and essentially changing the course of my life, but meh). It's nice to know that the only stress potential for the rest of the year is 8 A level exams.

Work

Isn't it such a joy?

Taking a break from physics coursework to write my blog, I suddenly realise that I also have german to finish. However, never one to let myself get stressed, I shal be taking time to watch Enterprise. I don't know abut you, but I can never work or concentrate on anything serious when I know that something more fun is happening elsewhere that will not wait for me.

On another note, I was pianist at church for the first time today. It's scary when you realise that you are pretty much the only melody instrument in the band, and yet you're the the only person who's never done it before and also you can't actually play the melody.

hmm...

One

Here we go... The first entry.

Yes, the first.

Number one.

Hmm.

Well, this is going well. A good start to my blogging expierence. Post number one and I have no idea what to write.

I hope most of them are better than this.

My name is Chris, but you probably already knew that.

uhh...

My z and v keys don't work very well, so if I say stuff like hae or gae then sorry, it's not even a typo.

I just saw the latest episode of Dr who. MY WORD, it's good. Quite possibly the only bit of cheesy tat I can enjoy without cringing. It can get away with the kind of humour that George Lucas never could in the Phantom Menace, and yet with good enough plot line to keep you hooked. Not sure wether I prefer the 45 minute episode format oer the 4 x 20 min episodes of old though.
